  • What is ELEC?

    Established in 1973‚ ELEC monitors the campaign financing of all elections in the State. Whether the election is for Governor or Mayor‚ member of the Legislature or a City Council‚ candidates and campaign organizations are required to file with the Commission contribution and expenditure reports.

Filing Deadlines

Avoid Internet congestion and possible delays. Due to the large number of expected filers‚ the Commission suggests that you file your report early.

The filing due date for business entities that have received $50‚000 or more through government contracts in calendar year 2023 is April 01‚ 2024. All reports are required to be electronically filed.
