    Established in 1973‚ ELEC monitors the campaign financing of all elections in the State. Whether the election is for Governor or Mayor‚ member of the Legislature or a City Council‚ candidates and campaign organizations are required to file with the Commission contribution and expenditure reports.

*** Form PFD–1 is due on April 14‚ 2022 for Primary Election Candidates and June 20‚ 2022 for Independent General Election Candidates.
Note: A fourth quarter 2021 filing is needed for Primary 2022 candidates if they started their camapign prior to December 9‚ 2021.
A second quarter 2022 filing is needed by Independent/Non–Partisan General Election candidates if they started their campaign prior to May 11‚ 2022.
